Window Flow Sights With Restricted Orifices dispense liquid at a fixed flow rate. The glass sight allows viewing of the liquid. These flow sights provide a simple tamperproof method of furnishing the desired amount of lubrication without the use of control valves. The sights can be used as a component in lubricating systems and in a multitude of applications involving fluid transfer.
The unit tolerates temperatures up to 225° F. The body of the flow sight is plated steel. Buna-N seals are used (Viton seals are available upon request). The glass sight features a pressure-tight, solid gasket design. The orifice diameter is 3/32". The hex size is 13/16” and the total height is 2 3/8”.
The flow rate shown is based on #20 oil at 70° F, at 10 PSI and gravity discharge.
