B-Nine WSG reduces plant height in ornamental plants by reducing internode length. Other benefits include a deeper green color and reduced breakage during shipping. B-Nine WSG when applied to plant foliage is absorbed into the leaf, moves within the plant to the growing points to reduce internode elongation. On certain crops a tank mix of B-Nine WSG plus Cycocel can provide a synergistic effect that results in enhanced activity. An example is 1250 PPM of B-Nine WSG and 1250 PPM of Cycocel for moderate height control in finishing bedding plants.

Lower or higher rates of B-Nine WSG may be used depending on crop needs. Solutions prepared from B-Nine WSG should not be held for more than 24 hours. Apply during morning or evening hours for best leaf absorption. Do not tank mix B-Nine WSG with any copper-containing product and do not spray B-Nine WSG within 7 days either before or after copper-containing products, as burning of leaves may result.
