Each of CTI’s hardware platforms – the well-known EC1000 and the new sub-compact SC500 – comes with a board-level API which follows the architecture of contemporary scan controllers and offers an easy way to convert from existing system designs.
Offering multiple price / performance options, both controller platforms can drive any of CTI’s Scanner Sets, Scan Heads and Integrated Scanning solutions.
Our board-level API for the EC1000 makes extensive use of XML to pass parameters between a client application and the DLLs. This technique dramatically reduces the number of interface methods required to control an EC1000 module. The following sections explicitly define the XML interface requirements.
The SC500 board-level API includes a new set of function calls that provide improved error handling and better precision computation compared to some of today’s 3rd party options.
