Norplex-Micarta Resin, Synthetic Substrates NP193PM

NP193PM is a sheet composed of a texturized aramid and "soft glass" fibers which are combined to make a fabric that is stronger than pure aramid and less abrasive than glass fabrics. The material is impregnated with a high temperature phenolic resin system which includes a non-conducting solid lubricant. The high performance composite has excellent mechanical strength at elevated temperatures and in adverse chemical environments. Applications include wear plates for conveyor systems, valve plates, and compressor and pump vanes. *The use temperature or temperature index is a recommendation only, and based upon experience in various applications.
