The UB series low profile pushbuttons are momentary or alternate action switches available in square or rectangular formats with snap-in mounting and built-in side barriers. The housing and base are made of glass fiber reinforced polyamide and liquid crystal polymer, both rated UL94V-0. Contacts are phosphor bronze with silver or gold plating, supporting 5A at 125/250V AC or 0.4VA maximum at 28V AC/DC for gold-plated versions. Mechanical life is 1,000,000 operations for momentary types, with electrical life of 200,000 operations for gold contacts. The switch has a travel of 0.091" (2.3mm) and operates between -20°C and +70°C for non-illuminated versions. Terminals are epoxy sealed, and the device meets UL recognition when ordered with proper marking.
