The S43F is a four-pole double-throw toggle switch with quick-connect terminals, rated for 20A resistive and 9A inductive load at 125V AC, and 20A DC at 30V with a power factor of 0.6. It has an angle of throw of 30° and operates within a temperature range of -10°C to +70°C. The toggle is made of brass with chrome plating, the case is phenolic resin, and terminals are tin-plated brass. Mounting uses a double-nut configuration with a torque of 2.94 Nm. The switch meets IP67 for splashproof versions and is UL and CSA certified when ordered with appropriate markings. It does not have terminals 2, 5, 8, or 11 in the 'ON' position. The panel thickness maximum is 0.181" (4.6 mm).
