The M2B-series miniature pushbutton switch is a sealed, snap-acting switch with single-pole double-throw (SPDT) ON-(ON) circuitry, designed for resistive and logic-level applications. It features a brass plunger with nickel plating, glass fiber reinforced polyamide housing (UL94V-0), and nitrile butadiene rubber sealing. The switch has a nominal operating force of 2.94N for single pole, travels 0.6mm pretravel and 0.4mm overtravel, and offers contact ratings of 1A at 125V AC or 1A at 30V DC for silver contacts (code W), with a contact resistance of 20 milliohms maximum. Electrical life is rated at 25,000 operations for silver contacts, and mechanical life at 200,000 operations. Terminals are epoxy sealed, and the switch supports wave and manual soldering. It operates from -30°C to +85°C and meets UL and CSA certifications when ordered with the appropriate suffix.
