The BB16AH is a double-pole, right-angle PCB-mount pushbutton in the BB Series, designed for low-voltage, logic-level applications. It features a sealed, antistatic construction with a carbon-blended polyamide bushing and tin-plated phosphor bronze support bracket to prevent static discharge. The switch has a 1/3 the size of Series M switches, with 2.54mm x 2.54mm terminal spacing, and operates in momentary or alternate-action circuits with a latchdown mechanism providing tactile feedback. Contact resistance is 50 milliohms maximum, insulation resistance is 500 megohms minimum at 500V DC, and dielectric strength is 500V AC for one minute. The mechanical and electrical life is rated at 25,000 operations for alternate action. Operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +85°C. The housing and plunger are made of glass fiber reinforced polyamide and polyacetal respectively, with gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts. It meets UL94V-0 flammability standards.
