The A Series is a family of sealed subminiature toggle switches designed for low-voltage, logic-level circuits. All variants feature a totally sealed body construction, STC contact mechanism for reliable actuation, and .100" x .100" (2.54mm x 2.54mm) terminal spacing conforming to standard PCB grid patterns. The switches have a contact resistance of 50 milliohms maximum, insulation resistance of 500 megohms minimum at 500V DC, and dielectric strength of 500V AC between contacts and case. Electrical life is rated at 50,000 operations minimum. Operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +85°C. Toggle actuation angle is 26°, with nonshorting (break-before-make) contact timing. Terminal options include straight, right angle, and vertical configurations with matching brackets. The housing and toggle are made of glass fiber reinforced polyamide; contacts are phosphor bronze with gold plating. The A Series has not been tested for UL or CSA certification.
