Nexthermal Corporation Band & Strip Heaters

Description
Band and strip heaters are a proven and cost effective heating technology. These heaters are generally used in larger surface area applications not requiring the precise heat distribution of a coil heater. Band and Strip heaters are built with two primary construction methods Mica and Ceramic. Mica Band and Strip Low Cost options Low to moderate operating temperatures (400F-450F max with secure clamping) Recommended to 30 w/sq inch watt density. Requires secure mounting for best heat transfer. Hole and cut out arrangements can be accommodated Ceramic Band Recommended to 40 w/sq inch (Ultra thin Ceramics to 65 w/sq inch) High operating temperatures up to 1400F Varied thicknesses of 5/8”, 7/8”, and 1” Optional air cooled design for the extrusion market Hole and cut out arrangements can be accommodated
