The device features an exposed heatsink for improved thermal conductivity and is AEC-Q101 qualified. Maximum power dissipation is 0.50 W on a standard FR4 PCB, rising to 1.35 W with a 6 cm² collector pad. Current gain (hFE) is grouped in selections: BCX53 (63-250), BCX53-10 (63-160), and BCX53-16 (100-250).
