The M-SST-46-12 is a SmartTable HD Series optical table with a 1200 mm × 1800 mm working surface and 305 mm thickness, featuring a 400 series ferromagnetic stainless steel top with an integrated damping layer and a 25 mm grid of M6-1.0 mounting holes. It combines passive precision tuned damping with active iQ damping technology to achieve the highest industry performance for applications such as super-resolution imaging and AFM. The table includes the ST-300 controller for real-time vibration monitoring and damping control, with vertical and horizontal isolation exceeding 98% at 10 Hz under a 3,200 lb load. Surface flatness is ±0.1 mm over 600 mm. The core is a trussed honeycomb construction with sealed mounting holes. Isolators are not included.
The M-SST-46-12 SmartTable® HD Series uniquely combines the powerful IQ Damping Technology® with passive precision tuned damping technology used in RS series tables. The two technologies compliment each other, creating the highest performance table in the industry. The included ST-300 SmartTable Controller can be used in a stand-alone (no computer required) mode and is also USB2 compatible. When operating in the stand-alone mode SmartTable HD automatically tunes the table to maximize table damping independent of load. When connected to a computer via the USB2 port, the included software allows users to further fine tune and calibrate the table to the experiment at hand and gather vibration data in both the frequency and time domains.
