Newport MKS Integrating Sphere, 4-Port, 5.3 in. Diameter, PTFE, 2.5 inch Port Plug Included 819C-IS-5.3

Description
The 819C-IS-5.3 Integrating Sphere is a 5.3 inch, PTFE based, 4-port integrating sphere. It replaces 819C-SL-5.3. The port at 180° used for beam input (direct or with fiber adapter). The diameter of the 0° port is 2.5 inch, but the sphere comes with a port plug pre-mounted. The port at 90° is used for the detector (user selectable) and the port at the North Pole location (top) is for fiber optic taping to monitor wavelength. This setup is suitable for accurate, absolute value light power measurement of laser diodes. Your measurements will be insensitive to errors caused by detector positioning or problems associated with overfilling, or saturation, of the active area of the detector. In an integrating sphere, the detected flux is always a small fraction of the incident flux. All spheres include a baffle between the 90° and 0° ports, which prevents direct illumination from the light source to the detector port.
