SSPC-Paint 46 contains laboratory performance requirements for elastomeric coatings for use on above-ground exterior masonry or concrete substrates such as concrete masonry unit (CMU) block walls, precast or poured-in-place concrete masonry, concrete tilt-up construction, stucco, and fiber cement siding. The performance levels are based on results of laboratory testing for material weathering and chemical resistance properties, as well as laboratory testing for physical properties such as tensile elongation and water vapor permeance.
