Corrosion problems in oil & gas and petrochemical industries are collected and presented in Q&A format in this book. Part I focuses on natural gas and oil production, so called “upstream” industries, and Part II focuses on petrochemical and refinery, so called “downstream” industries. In each part, the engineers and researchers working in these fields set questions (Q) based on plant failures personally experienced or relayed to them by fellow engineers in the field. Afterwards, they give answers (A) on a highly technical, engineering and academic level. This Q&A book is not intended to be a scientific treatise but an engineering reference for engineers working in the oil & gas and petrochemical industries written in a format that is easy to understand.
