This standard describes requirements and guidelines for ways of organizing and maintaining the coating technical file (CTF) for ships to help those in the maritime industry comply with the International Maritime Organization(IMO)’s “Performance Standard for Protective Coatings” (PSPC). Information on file formats, including electronic and paper, along with what should be included, is provided. The structure of the files for both new construction and repair procedures is described in an easy-to-use format.
