The Multicomp Pro enclosure is designed for general-purpose applications, constructed from either ABS plastic or polycarbonate, both of which are RoHS compliant and have a UL flammability rating of UL94 HB. It features a gasketed lid with a two-piece "tongue & groove" design that provides protection against oil, dust, and water, meeting IP 65 standards. The enclosure includes a rubber gasket that must be field-installed and has a smooth recessed area on the lid suitable for membrane switches, labels, or silkscreening. The lid is secured with self-captivating M3.5 stainless steel machine screws, which are threaded into integral stainless steel bushings, allowing for repetitive assembly and disassembly without corrosion issues. Internal mounting options are enhanced with molded DIN rail mounting tabs. The enclosure is available in various sizes and configurations, including options for clear or opaque lids and integral bottom flanges.
