The Servo Riveter is possibly the most versatile riveter ever built! It can act as an impact-style riveter for semi-tube rivets, or as a controlled, compression riveter for solid rivets. All of these changes can be made right on the operator interface!
This riveter utilizes a roller screw linear actuator, driven by a servo-controlled motor. The servo technology allows the user to set a rivet according to a specified setting force, or to a specified crush height!
Another exciting feature of this machine is the variable stroke capability. This concept allows the machine to make successive cycles without retracting completely. This can greatly reduce the cycle time by reducing the ram's travel distance and can even be done on the fly with the optional potentiometer foot-pedal or "Pot-Pedal".
