Parcels
A RFID label can be attached to a product as it is packed. The label can be printed and encoded with a thermal printer. The encoded information could contain a tracking number, the sender and receiver as well as the destination address.
As the packages goes through the process, scanners can track and update it until it reaches the point of destination. The RFID tag eliminates having to enter the same data over again manually. Inventory of items are taken at the destination to make sure the correct parcel was received. This process reduces handling costs.
