Morgan Advanced Materials High Performance Piezo Material PZT-508-HD

Description
Morgan Electro Ceramics announces the release of our new piezoelectric material, PZT-508-HD, for use in demanding transducer and actuator applications. The new, high density material was designed to achieve low porosity and a uniform microstructure, offering increased dielectric constant, low dielectric losses and improved electromechanical coupling coefficients. • High performance applications include medical imaging, inkjet printing and actuators. • Higher dielectric permittivity and coupling results in higher sensitivity in imaging and other sensing applications. • • Significantly higher d31 yields higher displacement and blocked force in tube and bender applications. • Improved mechanical properties resulting in improved machinability for generating finer features.
