Morgan Advanced Materials Melt-Spun Foil Nicutin™-P

Description
The Wesgo Metals business of Morgan Technical Ceramics manufactures and supplies high-purity, low vapour pressure brazing alloys in various forms. Precious and non-precious alloys are available in atomized powder, discs, evaporation slugs, extrudable paste, FlexibrazeTM, preforms, ribbon, rings, sheet, washers, and wire. Melt-Spun Foil is made by rapid solidification, a process that enables the manufacture of amorphous metals which can not be manufactured by conventional cold or hot rolling techniques. Melt-Spun Foil preforms are commonly used to braze heat exchanger assemblies, to assemble and repair compressor vanes, stators, and hush kits for aero engines and to produce cutting surfaces by brazing diamond compounds to tungsten carbide. Rapid solidification produces high purity foil that provides flexible application, consistent wetting and melting behaviour and structural stability over a wide range of temperatures. Wesgo’s rapidly solidified foil is available in strip and as preforms. Widths up to 250mm (10 in) are available depending on the alloy and a typical thickness of 0.05mm (0.002 in). A variety of compositions are available
