The NB621EV-LF-Z is a synchronous step-down converter designed to deliver up to 8A of output current with an input voltage range of 5.5V to 25V. It features an integrated low dropout regulator (LDO) providing 100mA output, and operates at a fixed switching frequency of 600kHz, with the capability to synchronize to an external clock ranging from 300kHz to 2MHz. The device includes internal low R_DSON power MOSFETs, internal compensation, and a power good output, enhancing its usability in various applications. Protection features include overcurrent protection (OCP) and thermal shutdown, ensuring reliable operation under varying conditions.
