The MP8715DN-LF-P is a synchronous step-down regulator designed to provide a fixed-frequency PWM output. It operates with an input voltage range of 4.5V to 21V and can generate an adjustable output voltage from 0.8V to the input voltage, supporting a continuous output current of up to 4A. The device features a 120m,Ѷ high-side switch and a 50m,Ѷ synchronous rectifier, allowing for high efficiency, with reported efficiencies of up to 95%. The regulator includes external soft-start functionality and a power good indication, which enhances design flexibility. It is available in two compact packages: an 8-pin SOIC with an exposed pad and a 14-pin QFN measuring 3mm x 4mm.
