The MP4033GSE-Z is a TRIAC-dimmable, primary-side-control offline LED driver designed for solid-state lighting applications up to 50W. It features active power factor correction and operates in boundary conduction mode, which helps to minimize MOSFET switching losses. The device supports adaptive dimmer type detection and phase-cut-based dimming control, ensuring compatibility with a variety of dimmers and providing a deep dimming range. This LED driver includes several protective features to enhance reliability, such as output over-voltage protection, output short-circuit protection, winding short circuit protection, and over-temperature protection. It also incorporates a programmable current fold-back function to extend LED lifespan. The MP4033GSE-Z is available in a 14-SOIC package and supports analog dimming with PWM input, making it suitable for applications requiring color temperature and brightness control.
