The MP2731GQC-0000-P is a highly integrated switch-mode battery charge management device designed for single-cell Li-ion or Li-polymer batteries, capable of delivering up to 4.5A of charging current. It operates within a wide input voltage range of 3.7V to 16V, with a sustainable voltage of up to 22V. The device features a high-efficiency buck charger with up to 92% charge efficiency at 3A and supports USB On-The-Go (OTG) with adjustable output voltage between 4.8V and 5.5V, providing up to 3.0A output. The MP2731GQC incorporates NVDC power path management, allowing for instant-on functionality even with no battery or a deeply discharged battery. It includes safety features such as configurable JEITA for battery temperature protection, a charging safety timer, thermal regulation, and input/system over-voltage protection. The device also features an I²C interface for flexible system parameter setting and status reporting, along with an integrated ADC for monitoring various operational parameters.
