The TAV1-331NM+ is a 50Ω MMIC D-pHEMT transistor designed for ultra-low-noise amplification in communication systems from 10 to 4000 MHz. It is housed in a non-magnetic 1.4 × 1.2 mm package with an exposed paddle, suitable for MRI and other magnetically sensitive applications. The device exhibits a typical noise figure of 0.5 dB at 300 MHz and a typical gain of 24.2 dB across the band. It delivers a typical output third-order intercept point of +31.7 dBm at 300 MHz and +36.5 dBm at 4000 MHz, with a drain current of 60 mA at +4 V bias. External biasing and matching are required. The part is RoHS compliant and supplied on tape and reel.
