The Pyrogenics Group is the world leader in the production of high-purity freestanding PYROID® Pyrolytic Graphite (PG) films and stripper foils. PYROID® PG film is supplied at any thickness between 2 µm to 75 µm (areal densities from 250 µg/cm2 and above). Our foils are stable at high temperature and vacuum, easy to flex but strong due to inherent flexural modulus, and resist high energy erosion. This means our foils are an ideal material for your high energy needs such as (radioisotope production used for PET imaging) and can last as much as 3 times as long as alternative materials. Many of our customers are telling us that using our foils saves them money by avoiding costly and unnecessary down time.
