The Freight Lift FLH family of 2-post straddle hydraulic vertical conveyors (VRCs) utilizes an industry-best 4 to 1 cable reaving system that minimizes stresses in the lifting cables and maximizes the amount of travel produced per inch of cylinder stroke. Because the carriage is straddled between the guide beams, carriage sizes can be larger than with most cantilevered designs. The Freightlift straddle hydraulic family of vertical lifts travel up to 28 feet with capacities to 6,000 pounds and carriage lengths up to 12 feet.
Hydraulic VRCs are often used for material transfer between landings, mezzanine access, and conveyor systems, which improves use of vertical building space, enhances stability and safety during load transfer, and increase manufacturing efficiency.
