The S-5843A Series is a temperature switch IC designed for thermal monitoring and control in electronic devices. It operates from a minimum supply voltage of 1.65 V with a typical current consumption of 4.5 μA at 25°C. The device features selectable hysteresis of 2°C, 4°C, 10°C, or 20°C, and supports both CMOS and N-channel open drain output forms with selectable active-high or active-low logic. Detection temperature ranges from +40°C to +120°C in 1°C steps with an accuracy of ±2.5°C. The part is housed in an SNT-6A package and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. It is lead-free, Sn 100%, and halogen-free.
