The Minco Point Duct sensor, part number S450PDY6, is designed for accurate temperature sensing of air streams in ducts and plenums. It features a fast-responding aluminum sensing tip and includes a junction box with a gasket to minimize leakage and vibration noise. The sensor operates within a temperature range of -45.5 to 135¬8C (-50 to 275¬8F), with the gasket rated for a maximum of 100¬8C (212¬8F). Leadwires are AWG 22, PTFE insulated, and measure 4 inches (100 mm) in length. The sensor meets moisture resistance standards as per MIL-STD-202, Method 104, Test Condition B. Custom options available include a NEMA 4 weatherproof connection box and an all stainless steel probe, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. Outside air sensors are also available, designed for mounting on conduit with an elbow type enclosure and sun shield.
