The Minco Tip Sensitive RTD, part number AS5004PD24Z1C, is designed for direct immersion in non-corrosive fluids, providing rapid temperature response. It operates within a temperature range of -50 to 260¬8C (-58 to 500¬8F) and has a pressure rating of 100 psi (6.9 bar). The probe is constructed from stainless steel with a copper alloy tip, enhancing heat transfer efficiency. The fitting includes a silicone rubber O-ring for sealing, and the connection head can be made from cast iron, aluminum, or stainless steel. The typical time constant for the sensor is 2.0 seconds for a single element and 5.0 seconds for a dual element in moving water. Insulation resistance is rated at a minimum of 100 megohms at 100 VDC. The device features a terminal block for wire connections up to AWG 14.
