THERMOSEAL® Thermal Coating P130 is a wet, thick paste applied for thermal protection against flame erosion, molten metal corrosion, and thermal spalling. The coating is white to off-white, has a pH of 9-10, and contains 30-70% aluminum oxide, 20-50% amorphous silica, and trace crystalline silica (cristobalite). It is not regulated for transport, is not classified as hazardous waste under RCRA, and is not flammable or explosive. Inhalation of dust generated during application or after service may cause respiratory irritation, and skin or eye contact may cause mechanical irritation. Recommended handling includes local exhaust ventilation and the use of NIOSH-approved particulate respirators when ventilation is inadequate.
Thermoseal® Thermal Coatings are high-temperature coatings excellent for use as protection against flame erosion, molten metal corrosion, and thermal spalling. Our coatings are easily applied by rolling, dipping, or spraying.
