The MSC025SMA120B is a 1200 V silicon carbide (SiC) MOSFET in a TO-247 package, designed for high-efficiency, high-power applications such as electric vehicle chargers, industrial motor drives, and PV inverters. It features a rated on-resistance of 25 mΩ, high repetitive unclamped inductive switching capability, and operation at elevated junction temperatures. The device is qualified to AEC-Q101 standards and benefits from silicon carbide's threefold higher thermal conductivity compared to silicon, enabling reduced cooling requirements and higher power density.
