Microsemi Corp. Bipolar Transistors - BJT Jan2N3498/TR

The JAN2N3498 is a military-qualified NPN silicon transistor for high-reliability and medium-power applications, available in a TO-39 (TO-205AD) package with a hermetically sealed kovar base and nickel cap. It has a collector-emitter voltage rating of 100 V, collector current of 500 mA, and a thermal resistance junction-to-ambient of 175 °C/W. The device meets MIL-PRF-19500/366 qualifications and is RoHS compliant in commercial versions. Operating junction temperature ranges from -65 °C to +200 °C.
