The TC4429VOA is a high-speed, single-output MOSFET driver capable of delivering a peak output current of 6A. It features an inverting output and is designed to operate within a wide supply voltage range of 4.5V to 18V. The device is latch-up protected and can withstand reverse output currents greater than 1.5A, making it suitable for robust applications. This driver is compatible with both TTL and CMOS logic levels, allowing input voltages to swing as low as -5V and as high as VDD + 0.3V without causing damage. The output voltage swing is rail-to-rail, ensuring minimal voltage drop during operation. The TC4429VOA exhibits matched rise and fall times of approximately 25ns with a 2500pF load and a short delay time of 55ns, which enhances its performance in fast-switching applications. The device is also ESD protected up to 4kV and has a low output impedance of 2.5Oc, contributing to its efficiency in driving capacitive loads up to 10,000pF.
