The TC4427AEUA is a dual high-speed power MOSFET driver capable of delivering a peak output current of 1.5A. It operates within a wide input supply voltage range of 4.5V to 18V and can drive capacitive loads of up to 1000pF in approximately 25ns. The device features short delay times of around 30ns, with matched rise and fall times, ensuring efficient switching performance. This driver exhibits low supply current, drawing 1mA with a logic '1' input and 100µA with a logic '0' input. It has a low output impedance of 7Oc, which helps maintain the intended state of the MOSFET during operation. The TC4427AEUA is designed to be latch-up protected, capable of withstanding reverse currents of up to 0.5A, and can tolerate negative inputs up to 5V without damage. The device is fully protected against electrostatic discharge (ESD) up to 2kV and is available in space-saving 8-pin MSOP and DFN-S packages. It is suitable for applications such as switch mode power supplies, line drivers, and pulse transformer drives.
