The SY89542UMG-TR is a dual 2:1 differential multiplexer designed for high-speed applications, supporting data rates up to 3.2Gbps. It features an ultra-low jitter design with less than 1ps RMS random jitter and less than 10ps peak-to-peak deterministic jitter. The device operates from a single 2.5V power supply and is suitable for a wide temperature range of -40¬8C to +85¬8C. This multiplexer includes internal termination for its differential inputs, allowing for easy interfacing with various logic standards, both AC- and DC-coupled. The output swing is 350mV LVDS compatible, and the device is packaged in a compact 32-pin MicroLeadFrame (MLF) package. Applications include redundant clock/data switchover, SONET/SDH multi-channel selection, Fibre Channel, and GigE applications.
