The SY56040ARMY is a fully differential, low voltage 1.2V/1.8V/2.5V CML 4x4 crosspoint switch capable of processing clock signals up to 5GHz and data patterns reaching 6.4Gbps. It features a unique 3-pin input termination architecture that allows for direct interfacing with LVPECL, LVDS, or CML differential signals as low as 100mV without requiring additional level-shifting or termination resistors. The outputs provide 400mV CML with rise and fall times guaranteed to be less than 80ps. This device operates on a core supply of 2.5V ¬±5% and an output supply of 1.2V/1.8V/2.5V ¬±5%, and is rated for operation over an industrial temperature range of -40¬8C to +85¬8C. The SY56040ARMY is designed for applications in data distribution, including SONET, Fibre Channel, and Gigabit Ethernet. It is packaged in a 44-pin MicroLeadFrame (MLF) format, making it suitable for high-density applications.
