The PIC24FJ256DA106 is a 16-bit Flash microcontroller with a graphics controller and USB On-The-Go (OTG) functionality, designed to drive graphical displays up to 480x272 at 60 Hz with 16-bit color depth. It comes in a 64-pin TQFP or QFN package, features 256 Kbytes of Flash program memory and 24 Kbytes of data RAM, and supports up to 52 I/O pins with Peripheral Pin Select. The device includes a 10-bit ADC with 16 channels, three analog comparators, a Charge Time Measurement Unit for capacitive touch sensing, three SPI modules, three I2C modules, four UARTs, and a USB OTG module supporting full-speed device and host modes. It operates from 2.2V to 3.6V and includes power-saving modes with 800 µA/MIPS run mode and 20 µA sleep mode. The part supports in-circuit serial programming and debugging, and meets AEC-Q200 qualifications.
The PIC24F-DA family features integrated graphics acceleration and a display controller to directly drive displays up to 4.3" WQVGA with 480 × 272 resolution. Ideal for Graphical interface applications that can benefit from the integrated Graphics, 96K byte RAM for frame buffer, mTouch, USB and other peripherals.
