The MSL3088-IUR is an 8-channel LED driver designed to control up to eight parallel LED strings with a peak current of 60mA per string, supporting a total output power of up to 24W. It features an integrated boost controller and accepts two PWM inputs for frequency and duty cycle control, allowing for advanced dimming capabilities with a dimming ratio of up to 4095:1. The device includes fault detection for open-circuit and short-circuit conditions, as well as over-voltage and over-temperature protection. It operates within a temperature range of -40¬8C to +85¬8C and is housed in a 24-pin VQFN package that is lead-free, halogen-free, and RoHS compliant. The MSL3088 also supports I¬=C communication for additional control and monitoring of device parameters, making it suitable for applications in LED backlighting, medical instrumentation, automotive displays, and architectural lighting.
