The MIC5350-MGYMT-TR is a dual ultra low-dropout (ULDO,Ñ¢) linear regulator designed for portable electronics, featuring two outputs: 300mA and 500mA. It operates within an input voltage range of 2.6V to 5.5V and exhibits an ultra-low dropout voltage of 75mV at 300mA and 125mV at 500mA. The device is characterized by low output noise of 30µV RMS and offers ±2% initial output accuracy, making it suitable for noise-sensitive applications such as RF circuitry, cellular phone cameras, and portable media players. The MIC5350 is housed in a compact 8-pin 2mm x 2mm Thin MLF® package, which provides excellent thermal performance and occupies less board space compared to traditional packages. It is stable with small ceramic output capacitors, requiring only 2.2µF for operation. Additional features include thermal shutdown protection, low quiescent current of 130µA at maximum load, and fast start-up time of 30µs. The device is suitable for a variety of applications, including mobile phones, PDAs, and GPS receivers.
