The MIC5350-MGYMT-TR is a dual ultra low-dropout (ULDO,Ñ¢) linear regulator designed for portable electronics, featuring two outputs: 300mA and 500mA. It operates within an input voltage range of 2.6V to 5.5V and exhibits an ultra-low dropout voltage of 75mV at 300mA and 125mV at 500mA. The device is characterized by low output noise of 30¬µV RMS and offers ¬±2% initial output accuracy, making it suitable for noise-sensitive applications such as RF circuitry, cellular phone cameras, and portable media players. The MIC5350 is housed in a compact 8-pin 2mm x 2mm Thin MLF¬Æ package, which provides excellent thermal performance and occupies less board space compared to traditional packages. It is stable with small ceramic output capacitors, requiring only 2.2¬µF for operation. Additional features include thermal shutdown protection, low quiescent current of 130¬µA at maximum load, and fast start-up time of 30¬µs. The device is suitable for a variety of applications, including mobile phones, PDAs, and GPS receivers.
