The MIC5320-JGYD6-TR is a dual ultra low-dropout (ULDO,Ñ¢) linear regulator designed for portable electronics applications. It features a compact 6-pin 1.6mm x 1.6mm Thin MLF¬Æ package, which is significantly smaller than traditional packages, making it suitable for space-constrained designs. This regulator supports an input voltage range of 2.3V to 5.5V and provides two independent outputs with a maximum output current of 150mA per channel. The device exhibits an ultra-low dropout voltage of 35mV at 150mA, ensuring efficient operation in battery-powered applications. It is stable with small ceramic output capacitors, requiring only 1¬µF for stability, which helps reduce overall component costs and board space. The MIC5320-JGYD6-TR also features low quiescent current of 85¬µA per output, fast turn-on time of 30¬µs, thermal shutdown protection, and current-limit protection, enhancing its reliability in various applications such as mobile phones, PDAs, and portable media players. The operating temperature range is from -40¬8C to +125¬8C, making it suitable for a wide range of environments.
