The MIC4724YMME is a high-efficiency PWM buck (step-down) regulator capable of delivering up to 3A of output current. It operates within a supply voltage range of 3.0V to 6.0V and features an adjustable output voltage down to 1V. The device operates at a frequency of 2.0MHz and incorporates proprietary internal compensation, achieving a closed-loop bandwidth exceeding 200KHz. With efficiencies reaching up to 94%, the MIC4724YMME minimizes the need for external components and eliminates the requirement for a current sense resistor due to its low on-resistance internal p-channel MOSFET. The regulator supports a maximum duty cycle of 100%, making it suitable for low-dropout applications. It is housed in a 10-pin ePAD MSOP package and is designed to operate within a junction temperature range of -40¬8C to +125¬8C. Additional features include micropower shutdown, thermal shutdown, and current limit protection, enhancing its reliability in various applications such as FPGA/DSP/ASIC systems, broadband communications, and computing peripherals.
