The MIC4427BMM-TR is a dual low-side MOSFET driver designed for high efficiency and low power consumption, utilizing a BiCMOS/DMOS construction. It supports an operating voltage range of 4.5V to 18V and can deliver a peak output current of 1.5A. The device features low quiescent supply current, with 4 mA at a logic high input and 400 OºA at a logic low input. It is capable of switching 1000 pF loads in 25 ns, with matched rise and fall times, and has a typical delay of less than 40 ns. The MIC4427BMM-TR offers logic-input protection down to -5V and is latch-up protected against reverse currents exceeding 500 mA. It provides a low output impedance of 7Oc and can swing output voltages within 25 mV of the supply or ground. The device is available in multiple configurations, including dual non-inverting outputs, and is suitable for applications such as driving power MOSFETs, clock lines, coaxial cables, and piezoelectric transducers. It is also a pin-compatible replacement for earlier models, enhancing its versatility in design.
