The MIC4422A is a non-inverting low-side MOSFET driver capable of delivering a peak output current of 9A. It operates within a supply voltage range of 4.5V to 18V and features a minimum pulse width of 50ns. The driver can withstand input logic levels from 2.4V to the supply voltage, and it is designed to handle negative input swings of up to 5V without damage. This device is constructed using a Bipolar/CMOS/DMOS process, ensuring it is latch-up proof and has low crossover current, which contributes to efficient operation and minimal heat generation. The MIC4422A can drive capacitive loads up to 47,000pF and has a low supply current of 500µA.
