The MIC37151-1.5WR-TR is a low-dropout linear voltage regulator capable of delivering a guaranteed output current of 1.5A. It operates within an input voltage range of 2.25V to 6.0V and features a maximum dropout voltage of 500mV, making it suitable for applications requiring low voltage conversion, such as from 3.0V to 2.5V or lower voltages like 1.8V, 1.65V, or 1.5V. The device is designed for stability with both ceramic and tantalum capacitors and offers fixed output voltages with an initial output tolerance of ¬±1.0%. Additional features include excellent line and load regulation, thermal shutdown, current-limit protection, and reverse-leakage protection. The MIC37151-1.5WR-TR is housed in a compact 5-lead S-Pak package and includes a logic-controlled shutdown function and an error flag output.
