The MIC2800-D24MYML-TR is a digital power management IC designed for efficient voltage regulation. It operates within an input voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V and features a 2 MHz DC/DC converter capable of delivering up to 600 mA of output current in PWM mode. The device includes two low-dropout regulators (LDOs), each providing 300 mA output current, with one LDO directly connected to the DC/DC converter output for enhanced efficiency. The MIC2800 incorporates a LOWQ mode that reduces total quiescent current to 30 µA, making it suitable for low-power applications. In this mode, the output noise is minimized to 75 µV RMS, which is beneficial for sensitive RF systems. The IC also includes thermal shutdown and current limit protection features, ensuring reliable operation.
