The MIC2544A-1YMM is a high-side power switch designed for low loss DC power switching applications. It operates within a voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V and features an adjustable current limit of up to 1.5A. The device includes reverse current flow blocking, eliminating the need for a body diode, and has a typical on-state supply current of 90¬µA and off-state supply current of 1¬µA. The maximum on-resistance is specified at 120m,Ѷ. This switch is equipped with a fault flag output that indicates current limiting or thermal shutdown conditions. It also incorporates thermal shutdown protection to safeguard both the switch and connected devices. The MIC2544A-1YMM supports a soft-start feature to minimize inrush current during activation and is compatible with both 3V and 5V logic levels for its enable signal. The device is available in an 8-pin MSOP package and is suitable for applications such as USB power distribution, PCI bus power switching, and notebook PCs.
