The MIC23656-FAYFT-TR is a synchronous step-down regulator designed for high efficiency and low voltage input applications. It supports an input voltage range of 2.4V to 5.5V and can deliver a peak output current of 6A. The device features an I¬=C interface for programmable output voltage settings between 0.6V and 1.28V with a resolution of 5mV, or between 0.6V and 3.84V with 10mV and 20mV resolutions. This regulator is optimized for light load efficiency with a maximum efficiency of up to 95% and offers ultra-fast transient response. It includes multiple fault indications through the I¬=C interface, latch-off thermal shutdown protection, and a power good open-drain output for voltage monitoring. The MIC23656-FAYFT-TR is suitable for applications such as solid-state drives, FPGAs, and low-voltage ASIC power.
