The MIC2287-15BML-TR is a pulse width modulated (PWM) boost-switching regulator designed for constant-current white LED driver applications. It operates at a frequency of 1.2MHz, allowing for compact external component sizes and reduced noise and input ripple. The device supports an input voltage range of 2.5V to 10V and can output up to 34V, making it capable of driving a string of up to 8 white LEDs in series. This LED driver features a feedback voltage of 95mV, which minimizes power dissipation in the current set resistor, thus optimizing efficiency. It includes three levels of overvoltage protection (OVP) at 15V, 24V, and 34V, allowing designers to select appropriate voltage ratings for their applications. The MIC2287-15BML-TR is available in a low-profile 2mm x 2mm MLF,Ñ¢ package and has a junction temperature range of -40¬8C to +125¬8C.
